Nothing special about Jan the 1st.
January 1st..it's so very special,
The dawn of a fresh new year
With the prospect of empty days to be filled
With hope, dreams and cheer.
A new year begins...
With a hint of zeal, an ounce of will
and the promise of new pleasures.
Jan the 1st it's oh so special
as a page in the calendar turns,
When ushered in with loved ones in tow
What a truly unifying day it is..
The first day of the new year!
